The 43rd Problem Conference of Medical Libraries, “The User at the Heart of Innovation in the Library,” is a nationwide gathering of the medical library community and specialists and experts involved in academic medical and health sciences education. The event took place on 14–16 September 2026 at the University Library of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

The conference continues the long-standing tradition of problem-focused meetings of medical libraries as a forum for exchanging experiences, good practices, and inspiring solutions that support learning and teaching and respond to the challenges of contemporary medical librarianship. The theme “The User at the Heart of Innovation in the Library” focuses attention on users’ needs as the main reference point for the development of modern library and information services.
