Abstrakt:

I consider in my article an insight into the borsht perceived not only as a dish, that has become one of the key specialties of the Russian cuisine, but also as an integral part of the Russian culture as a whole. The studied data was derived from the Russian National Corpus, Russian national proverbs, as well as some contemporary Internet-memes.
