Knowledge acquisition is a form of learning. Knowledge can be acquired in a number of ways: by reading, listening, observing reality. Our ability to cope with the surrounding world comes from synaptic interconnections between nerve cells of our brain. Memory, which used to be considered the source of the divine knowledge of ancient alchemists, when analysed from the standpoint of contemporary neurology and psychology, takes a complex and heterogeneous form. Alain Lieury, describing biological and psychological mechanisms of memory, shows its significance in knowledge acquisition and offers advice on how to delay the inevitable process of ‘memory aging’.}, title={Wie lernt das Gehirn? Die Rolle des Gedächtnisses im Lernprozess}, type={tekst}, doi={10.25951/4723}, }
