 abstract={The article addresses the problem of (un)intended depravity as a pedagogical and sociocultural phenomenon within the broader framework of the social system. It highlights the growing need for professional and institutional support in moral education, especially in the face of contemporary threats to the integrity of youth development. Drawing on theoretical perspectives and case studies – including educational experiences under totalitarian regimes, symbolic degradation of memory, and empirical research on youth behavior – this study reveals the crucial role of educators, families, and social institutions in preserving values, identity, and intergenerational responsibility. Special attention is given to the contrast between declared values and actual behaviors of students, the erosion of authority in schools, and the challenges of cultivating civic and ethical maturity in a destabilized social environment.},
