Kitmanov, Polish and Russian exiles revolutionaries, written during the second half of the 19th century. The memoirs describe life of exiles of the Polish January Uprising of 1863–1864 who remained in settlements of Yeniseysk \(the Yenisey province, Eastern Siberia\) in 1860’s and 1870’s. Based on the analysis, the author points out that the Polish diaspora has been an important part of a Russian county town within 20 years and met good attitude of residents and local authorities. The author concludes that after a number of amnesties \(especially the Imperial Amnesty Proclamation in May 1883\) the majority of Poles came back to Poland or moved to the European part of Russia and there is no mention of Polish exiles in Yeniseysk in later memoirs."]
